Fandemonium time in Chicago this Saturday

This last year has been a crazy event packed year for me. It seems like every month I've had some kind of event set up where I get to meet great readers and hang out with amazing authors I've met along the way. I always enjoy these events, but often I feel that I don't get to be an appropriate stalker fan girl, since I'm busy manning my book signing table (sigh, LOL).

Well, in two days, all that changes. This Saturday, September 29th, I'm headed to Chicago for the day (woohooooooooooo!!). Some of my favorite authors are getting together for a book signing event. Check out this line-up: Colleen Hoover, Tracey Garvis-Graves, Tara Sivec, J. Sterling, Abbi Glines, S.C. Stephens, Rebecca Donovan, Tarryn Fisher, Liz Reihhardt, Stephanie Campbell, Nicole Williams, Jillian Dodd, C.J. Roberts, Elizabeth Reyes, Dina Silver, Elizabeth Hunter, Michelle Mankin. All I can say is I'm sure this will result in a great deal of squeels, yelps, and other girly nonsense.

As excited as I am to see all these fabulous writers, I'm equally excited to meet some of the great readers I've had the pleasure of chatting with online this past year: Fred LeBaron, Tressa Sager, Jamie Sager Hall, Melissa Mosloski, Lisa Spivack-Paul, Stephenie Thomas, Jennifer Roberts-Hall, Sarah Hansen, Melissa Brown, Jennifer Harried & sooooo many more.

So, if anyone else would like to join me in my "fandemonium," The event takes place at The Palmer House Hilton from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Of Blood and Bone by Courtney Cole

I was lucky enough to score an ARC copy of Courtney Cole's new book, Of Blood and Bone and all I can say is...

Here's what I thought of the book:

Of Blood and Bone by Courtney Cole is hands down her best book. I love Ms. Cole's YA books but I feel she knocks it out of the park with her venture into the adult genre. Of Blood and Bone is dark and enticing and Hell lets face it, HOT. I feel Ms. Cole's writing in Of Blood and Bone was beautiful and flawless, as she drags you into a delicious tale that will leave you breathless. Don't miss out, pick up your copy of this enjoyable read now!!

And here's something to entice you more: Blurb

“I’m a monster, Eva.  There is no saving a monster.  But I love that you want to try.”
My heart constricts at the expression on his face.  He has no hope for himself, so I have to hope for him.
“You’re not a monster,” I argue softly. “You’re a man, Luca.  A man like any other, you’re made of blood and bone.”

As a little boy, Luca Minaldi was told he was a monster.
As an adult, he knows it is true.

He lives in Malta, a fairytale-like place filled with sunshine and sea, beauty and secrets.  And Luca’s darkest of secrets is the best kept of them all.

Eva Talbot is spending the summer in Malta to finish up her doctoral dissertation.  When she meets Luca, a mysterious and handsome shipping tycoon, there is an instant attraction, a disturbing and beautiful energy that she has never felt before.  But she senses the darkness that lives within him.

Eva is hired to care for his mother, who suffers from dementia, but it is Luca who Eva will eventually risk everything to save.  Her life becomes a swirling chaos of darkness and romance, of secrets and mystery.  And the question that emerges will become the most important answer of all.

Can she save Luca from the darkness that plagues him without losing herself?

The answer is a matter of life or death.

See I told you it was...

Now hurry and get your on copy!!!
